<p>Yobe State Police Command has burst a kidnapping syndicate.</p>



<p>The Command’s spokesman, <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Superintendent Dungus Abdulkarim</a>, says three of the kidnappers have been killed.</p>



<p>According to Abdulkarim, the Command, in the early hours of August 30, received information that kidnappers, numbering about 15 and armed with AK 47 rifles stormed <a href="http://www.thisdaylive.com">Kasesa community </a>in Damaturu Local Government Area.</p>



<p>However, on getting the information, the vigilante group in the area with active supports from Police officers ambushed the kidnappers. They killed 3 and arrested 4 while the victim was rescued.</p>



<p>Abdulkarim said “Presently, the corpses have been deposited at a morgue in the<a href="https://openlife.ng/"> Specialist Hospital in Damaturu</a> while investigations are ongoing.”</p>



<p>Sources reveal that the kidnappers reportedly collected NGN 4 million from the victim.</p>
