<p>What Nigerian musicians should do<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that erstwhile Nigerian Music Sensation and leading voice in the musical scene&comma; Esse Agesse&comma; says there is a need for Nigerian musicians to redevelop content to achieve greater global reckoning&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Agesse&comma; who bestrode the musical scene with her scintillating and sonorous voice before relocating abroad&comma; made this observation in an exclusive interview with OpenLife&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;According to her&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I do have little problems with contents&period; There are little or no messages in songs&comma;” she lamented&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;However&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">Agesse<&sol;a> sees no reason content development should be a problem to modern musicians whom&comma; she expects&comma; should be able to raise the bar&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;According to her&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;It is great that we are in the digital era&period; So the cost of producing songs are not as high as before&comma;” she stated stressing that musicians should take full advantage of digitalizing to enhance the industry&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Esse&comma; who migrated to Ireland where she lives with her children for over a decade&comma; disclosed that she is still very much in music&period; But this time for spreading the gospel so that lots of folks can make heaven&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;My engagement in music is honestly limited to the Church for now&period; However I keep composing and keep working on some of my songs&comma; she revealed&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Amongst her gospel songs is &OpenCurlyQuote;Oghene Migwo Doh’ an Urhobo gospel song of praise and thanksgiving to God for His goodness and mercy daily&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Born in Delta&comma; Nigeria Lady Esse Agesse is a Mother&comma; Writer&comma; Singer cum Songwriter and activist now based in Ireland&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;She started singing professionally in the early ’90s with the release of her first album titled &OpenCurlyQuote;familiar Stranger &OpenCurlyQuote; in 1992&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Lady Esse released her first gospel album in 1997 titled &OpenCurlyQuote;Simply Esse’ with hit songs like &OpenCurlyQuote;Araebamiyo&period;’<br &sol;>&NewLine;She has won several awards and produced top-rated films&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;She also runs an organization Women of Love International &lbrack;WOL Intl&rsqb; currently sponsors an Orphanage in Delta State&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
