Umu Anioma Foundation rewards selfless service

&NewLine;<p>As the 2<sup>nd<&sol;sup> decade of the 21<sup>st<&sol;sup> Century gravitates to a glorious end&comma; the Umu Anioma Foundation Worldwide has announced the recipients of the Umu Anioma Spirit of Community Awards&period; The awards recognize those who uphold strong ties through developmental initiatives in  the Anioma communities and neighborhoods&period; It also extends to those who demonstrate the spirit of creativity&comma; innovation and initiative by responding in a proactive manner to  issues relevant to the well-being of the community&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>A statement by Anthony&NewLine;Awunor&comma; Head of Media and Communications&comma; Umu Anioma Foundation Worldwide &nbsp&semi;added that those&NewLine;who promote &nbsp&semi;vision of responsible&NewLine;community membership which is respectful and inclusive of all ages&comma;&NewLine;sub-cultures and abilities are also included&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The following awardees are billed for honour&period; The <strong>Lifetime Achievement Award<&sol;strong> goes to <em> Chief &lpar;Prof&period;&rpar; Augustine Onwuyalim Esogbue<&sol;em>&period; The Award goes to an Anioma personality who supports cultural value recovery&period; Mrs&period; <em>Anthonia Isioma Oguah<&sol;em> receives <strong>Anioma Culture Renaissance Award&period; <&sol;strong> Award goes to an Anioma personality who supports cultural value recovery&period; <strong> <&sol;strong>while <strong>Youth Empowerment Champion<&sol;strong> goes to <em> Dr&period; Veronica Ifechide Ufoegbune and Dr&period; Unoma Ndili Okorafor<&sol;em>&period; This award goes to an Anioma son or daughter involved in empowering Anioma youths in  employment&comma; training&period; <em>Mr&period; Charles Chiedu Odita<&sol;em> receives <strong>Community Development Award<&sol;strong>&period; This award is for any Anioma son or daughter with proven track record of funding<br> or supporting development of Anioma Nation or any Anioma Community or has<br> demonstrated commitment to the development of Anioma Nation through their work<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The investiture ceremony for the award recipients  holds on Saturday March 28&comma; 2020 at the 10th Anniversary of Umu Anioma Foundation Worldwide Celebration&comma; at Place du Souvenir Africain&comma; Rue Corniche Ouest X Aimé Césaire&comma; Dakar&comma; Senegal&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Anioma is an acronym coined from six respective&NewLine;local government areas in the northern part of Delta State&comma; Nigeria&period; The Anioma&NewLine;region has an estimated total population of approximately 1&period;1 million people&period;<br>&NewLine;<br>&NewLine;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
