OpenLife Nigeria reports that activist and public affairs commentator, former Senator Shehu Sani has raised the alarm over the inclusion of immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai in the new cabinet being constituted by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Coming short of calling El Rufai a coup plotter, Senator Sani described him, during an interactive session on Channels TV, as a fellow capable of upstaging and displacing Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Kashim Shettima is a Nigerian politician who is the 15th and current vice president of Nigeria. He previously served as Senator for Borno Central from 2019 to 2023. Before then, he was the governor of Borno State from 2011 to 2019.
Senator Shehu Sani, 55, hails from Tudun Wada Kaduna South, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He represented Kaduna Central in the Senate between June 2015 and June 2019.
The Kaduna Polytechnic graduate and Agricultural engineer, civil rights activist, author, publisher, poet, politician, is currently a chieftain of People’s Redemption Party, PRP.
