<h4>Tension Grips NPA Managing Director<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>OpenLife Nigeria has gathered that tension has gripped<br &sol;>&NewLine;the managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority&comma; NPA&comma; Mohammed Bello-Koko over corruption allegations levelled against him&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So tense is the situation that the Oodua Youth Parliament&comma; OYP&comma; has called for his resignation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In a statement on Monday signed by its Speaker&comma; Aaree Abdulmojeed Oyeniyi&comma; the group threatened a nationwide protest if the MD failed to address allegations of corruption&comma; fraud&comma; and money laundering against him&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Oodua Youth Parliament has been inundated with reports and complaints of the untold corruption&comma; fraud&comma; and money laundering perpetrated under your watch as the Managing Director of Nigeria Port Authority&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Also&comma; it was resolved at the last general meeting to call on the MD Nigerian Port Authority&comma; Mr Mohammed Bello-Koko&comma; to take the path of honour by resigning from the office&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The expected resignation is to be effected within 7 working days failure of which national mass actions shall be embarked upon by our members nationwide&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;As a socio-cultural organisation with the consciousness of the national polity&comma; we affirmed that Nigerians have been so disappointed by the unprecedented abuse of office&comma; embarrassment&comma; and betrayal of what the government of President Buhari stands for&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;We believe the agency is currently in dire need of rescue from the stranglehold of vultures and saboteurs which would be salvaged by the redemption voice of conscious Nigerians&comma;” it added&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
