Syrian Born Nigeria Engineer faces charges of conspiracy,obtaining by false pretences

<h4>Syrian Born Nigeria Engineer<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<h4><&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that a Lagos Federal High Court has adjourned till 18th of June&comma;2024 for trial to commence&comma; of a Syria born Nigeria Engineer&comma;Walid Aslim 69&comma;and his co &&num;8211&semi; defendant Nassir Attallah 50&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>They are alleged to have conspired to commit felony to wit&colon; Forgery&comma;obtaining money under false pretences&comma;unlawful conversion and issuance of dud cheques&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to a five- count charge filed before the court by the Police Prosecuting Counsel&comma; SP Omo-Osagie&comma; from Zone Two Police Command&comma;it was allegedly stated that sometimes in January 2020&comma;with intent to defraud&comma; obtained credit facilities to the tune of N342 million property of Sky Capital &amp&semi; Finance Alliance International Ltd by forging a certificate of occupancy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It was further alleged that Walid Aslim and Nassir Attallah on the same date time and place with intent to defraud did issue a dud cheque to the tune of ten million Naira in favour of Sky Capital&amp&semi; Financial Allied International ltd and when presented was dishonoured for lack of sufficient fund standing in thier credit&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The two defendants were also alleged to have unlawfully obtained the sum of N342million property of Sky and Financial Allied International Ltd&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
