Senator Ned Nwoko Points Out Traps On Tinubu’s Re Election Bid

OpenLife Nigeria reports that federal lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko has said that it will be a great mistake for the All Progressives Congress, (APC) to force him out of the party ; stating that the price will be too costly for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu in his Delta North senatorial district.

Speaking through one of his lawyers, Dr Chris Okoba in Abuja on Friday, Nwoko calls on the leadership of the party to immediately review the results that declared former Governor of the State, Ifeanyin Okowa winner of the party’s last Monday’s senatorial primary election.

Nwoko rejects the results as declared by the party; saying that from records available to him, he won the primary overwhelmingly with a total of 123,000 votes against 5000 votes for his closest rival, Okowa; adding that he has sufficient video evidence to prove it.

Nwoko describes the declaration of Okowa as the winner “ a political fraud dressed in
party colours , alleging strongly that the results were completely manipulated and written the night before the primary.

Nwoko says he remains the clear choice of the people and that his mandate cannot be stolen.

He therefore cautions APC leadership in Delta State that any attempt to deny him the ticket or push him out of the party will totally jeopardize the votes of President Bola Tinubu in Delta North senatorial district where he and not anyone else is the chief grassroots mobilizer and holds all the aces.
