<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that the President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has announced an indefinite suspension of any Ndigbo coronation ceremony in Lagos.</p>
<p>The Lagos Ohanaeze Ndigbo President made the announcement in a statement he personally signed on Saturday and made available to journalists.</p>
<p>According to Chief Aguene, <em><strong>“The issue of Nna Ndigbo Lagos State { Father of Igbos in Lagos or Diaspora } has been cancelled by the directive of Chief Solomon Aguene.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>This decision has been taken in line with the submission of our host community who are kicking against so many coronations in Lagos state.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Therefore, anybody coming for a meeting in Lagos can attend but anything coronation is completely cancelled.</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>Till we hold a <a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/">meeting</a> with our host community, any coronation will not be entertained in <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Lagos</a> including display of flags or coronation paraphernalia.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Whatever the outcome of our meeting with our host community on the basis of either organizing coronation in Lagos or elsewhere in Igbo land will be officially communicated.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Anyone who flouts this order does so in his or her own risk,”</strong></em> Chief Aguene warned.</p>
