OpenLife Nigeria reports that a pregnant woman and her daughter were on Saturday evening at Akilibu village along Kaduna-Abuja highway were kidnapped by bandits.
The bandits, according to a source that the bandits reportedly went straight to their victims’ house to abduct them around 8:30pm on Saturday.
The source explained that the bandits invaded the house with the intention of abducting the husband of the husband but did not meet him at home when they attacked the house.
The bandits, according to the source shot sporadically to scare the villagers away before embarking on their mission.
He added, “We couldn’t sleep because of the gunshots. They came to the village around 8:30pm when people were still awake. They went straight to the man’s house who is a local farm manager but he was not at home at the time.”
The source explained that the housewife is identified as Adama was abducted alongside four of her children, stressing that the bandits later released three of them.
