Police recruitment, on going across the 36 States of Nigeria, has progressed significantly.
In Anambra State, the Command, on day 6, screened 155 candidates.
Superintendent Haruna Mohammed, Anambra Command’s spokesman said, in a statement, that the candidates were screened from Onitsha North and South Local Government Areas of Anambra State respectively.
According to him, “Today, August 29, 155 candidates were screened.
The screening exercise commenced at exactly 10am due to the State’s monthly sanitation exercise.
“So far, a total of 702 candidates from 12 Local Government Areas have been screened.
“They are, Anambra West, Anambra East ,Orumba North, Orumba South, Ayamelum, Ogbaru, Ekwusigo, Ihiala, Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Onitsha North and South Local Government Areas of Anambra State.”
The exercise, Mohammed disclosed, has been hitch free.
Meanwhile, the Police Recruitment screening exercise will continue on Monday, August 31.
Awka North and South Local Government Areas respectively will be screed on Monday.
