<p><strong>PLEASE, RELEASE IPOB LEADER, NNAMDI KANU:</strong></p>
<p><strong>A LETTER OF APPEAL TO HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, BY COMRADE <a href="http://Openlife.ng">OLUFEMI AJADI OGUNTOYINBO</a>, YOUTH PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT 2023.</strong></p>
<p><strong>HIS EXCELLENCY,</strong></p>
<p><strong>I bring you greetings from the National Executive Council of our great movement, the All Nigeria Youths (ANY) Reoriented Initiative, the entirety of Nigerian youths home and abroad, and other well-meaning patriots of this country.</strong></p>
<p><strong>First and foremost Mr President, I thank God for keeping you, your immediate family, and your executive cabinet alive and in good health for the great job of leading Nigeria at this important time of her political life; thank you a million times Sir.</strong></p>
<p><strong>As a national president of All Nigerian youths, a political party executive, entrepreneur and employer of labour, I know that it is not easy to lead people, especially when they are from different geo-political , different socio-economic and cultural environments and have divergent aspirations, so for these, I say well done for what you are doing for this nation, Sir.</strong></p>

<p><strong>ESSENCE OF THIS OPEN LETTER</strong></p>
<p><strong>His Excellency, the purpose of this open letter is to, most respectfully, seek your indulgence and appeal to your fatherly conscience, to use your good offices and ensure the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr Nnamdi Kanu.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are not saying that the IPOB leader is innocent of the allegations against him; not that some of his conducts are not capable of undermining national security; we are pleading that, as a father on the one hand, and as leader working for the best intentions for the country, that you temper justice with mercy.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are all mere mortals, and it is given that we will offend one another; but even as we expect the forgiveness of the Almighty God for our wrongs, we are here pleading that, concerning Nnamdi Kanu, one of your sons, that you temper justice with mercy.</strong></p>
<p><strong>It will show that our president considers the emotions of his children, and all his people, and has risen to answer their call for the release of the IPOB leader.</strong><br />
<strong>If God the creator forgives His children, who offend him, including all of us, then we should also learn to forgive others when they offend us.</strong></p>
<p><strong>When you wholeheartedly forgive someone who has offended you, you win him over totally. But if you fight back, you have shown that there is no difference between the two of you.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Personally, I am sure that Kanu and indeed all other people have learnt their lessons from this very case.</strong></p>
<p><strong>And so, as leader of a youth-based organisation for all Nigerians, I am ready to play any role necessarily to assuring real peaceful coexistence and genuine unity in the country.</strong></p>
<p><strong>At ANY Reoriented movement, a major plank of our activities is the unity of the country, the empowering of the youths and the harnessing of the diverse resources that God has blessed our country with.</strong></p>
<p><strong>To be able to do this, all hands must be on deck. All sides must be represented so that the individual and regional assets that God has blessed us with, could be pulled together for the common good of our people.</strong></p>
<p><strong>On these scores sir, I plead again, for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. This is one deed that show you as a kind father, not just willing to correct, but correcting in love.</strong><br />
<strong>By releasing him Sir, you would have shown a sense of accommodation, tolerance and art of forgiveness for which all patriots are known.</strong></p>
<p><strong>May God also answer when you call.</strong><br />
<strong>Thank you His Excellency for your kind consideration of this earnest appeal.</strong></p>
