Plane crashes at Abuja airport
OpenLife Nigeria reports that a plane has crashed near Abuja airport. Details of the plane, as of the time of filling this report, is unknown. Some say it might be chartered plane while many others believe it is a passenger plane. There is smoke around the environment with people milling round the scene to ascertain accurate details.
People within the scene are heard saying it is bloody.
Meanwhile, fresh information just emerged that the crashed plane near Abuja airport belonged to the Nigerian Air Force- Beechcraft. It is believed that one of the engines failed leading to the crash as it was making an air return.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika has said ” It appears to be fatal” but has also called for calm as the aviation authority is in control of the situation
