Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party in Nigeria, has pledged to dismantle the Nigerian Port Authority’s office and guest houses in London.
During a live appearance on Channels Television’s Town Hall series, Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, discussed their plans for tackling inefficiencies and waste in government.
Obi emphasized that his administration would work to eliminate confusion within government agencies, particularly the Nigerian Ports Authority, which he pointed out is the only port authority with a presence outside of its own country.
He explained that these issues persist due to people profiting from inefficiencies, and pledged to remove them.
