OpenLife Nigeria reports that ambitious and dedicated Asante Kotoko physiotherapist, Mr Emmanuel Duah-Kuffour Jaidyn also known as Mr Jay, has honored invitations by the two giant sporting Ashanti regional schools T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High and Asanteman Senior High School to support the schools by offering his services to their athletes ahead of this year’s competition.
Both schools were in the finals of the Milo games in 2022 and they have respectively qualified and preparing for the competition which started on the April 10, 2023.
On a Facebook post, Jay said “I had a successful session with T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Kumasi as part of my off-season voluntary Community work.
“The boys were amazing as Ishmael, the Health Prefect fell in love with Physiotherapy. I oriented him to the job and gave him the opportunity to practice first hand. I hope his interest continues to burn within. Someday, we could get the best out of him. Physiotherapy is the new wave, connect and let’s make up for the future. As usual, I had to go and support my boy, Rocky Dwamena-Official and Abdulai Gazale of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club after managing to qualify their school for The Milo Games”.
The selfless and hardworking physiotherapist after having a prosperous session with the students of T. I Ahmadiyya was contacted by the Head Master of Asanteman Senior High School Mr Nathaniel Antwi Asamoah to offer the school his voluntary community work.
After granting the wish, he wrote, “A heartfelt gratitude to the Head Master of Asanteman Senior High School Mr Nathaniel Antwi Asamoah and the Assistant Headmaster in charge of Domestics, Madam Georgina Osei, Head Of Sports(H.o.d) Mr. Alex Odonkor, P.E Teacher and head Coach Mr, Antwi Gideon Agyapong(Essien) Active entourage, Richard Akowauah. Acheampong Ebenezer, Assistant Coach, Gertrude Mensah, P.E. teacher, Maxwell Saekey, Team manager and Osei Minka Boateng, sports committee Chairman. I am honored for the invite and glad to have crossed hands with you in my field of work. I wish you all the best in your next games, see you again.
The laudable initiative by Mr. Jay has received massive attention from the Senior High Schools in the Ashanti Region with a lot of schools calling on him to be beneficiaries of his voluntary outreach. As we look forward to see which schools he will be attending next, Mr Jay spoke with pure fm sports in an interview to tell the story behind the initiative.
Emmanuel Duah-Kuffour Jaidyn, has gradually become the first name that comes in mind when physiotherapy is mentioned in this country, especially in the field of sports. In his post on Twitter he mentioned a special appreciation to Mr Kusi Eric Anyan(Sanchez), Abdulai Gazale of T.I Ahmadiyya and Mr Gideon Antwi(Essien) of Asanteman ShS the P.E teachers for the respective schools for their great contribution and organizational assistance for the successful affiliation with his brand and their institutions.
