North-South Progressive Movement welcomes Nigerians into Ember months, seeks unity

&NewLine;<p>North-South Progressive Movement&comma; NOSOP&comma; has welcomed Nigerians into the Embers months&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The pan-Nigerian association stated this in a statement signed by its national co-coordinator&comma; John Nwobodo on Tuesday&comma; September 1&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>According to the statement&comma; the association said &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The North-South Progressive Movement&comma; NOSOP family nationwide wishes Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora a happy new month of September&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Continuing&comma; the statement added that &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;It is our prayers the Almighty God&comma; Allah&comma; Chineke&comma; Oluwa will keep all <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">Nigerians<&sol;a> hale and hearty in the remaining days&comma; weeks and months in 2020&period; We shall enjoy the protection of Almighty God&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;NOSOP prays for Nigeria&comma; her leaders from the President to the least to lead and govern with fear of God&period; The association supports good governance and dividends of democracy to all parts of Nigeria without affection or ill will&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;May the forces that divide us be broken into pieces and may we receive the mind to see our uniqueness and similarities than our differences&period; May we enjoy unity in our diversity&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Nwobodo emphasized that <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thisdaylive&period;com">NOSOP’s<&sol;a>  main objective is to promote national governance based on the principles of equity&comma; justice and fairness&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The association&comma; he said&comma; &nbsp&semi;advocates equity and justice through dialogue&comma; consultation and lobby&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>According to him&comma; NOSOP believes every section of Nigeria should share in the opportunity to govern and administer key institutions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>To achieve this&comma; Nwobodo says the association &nbsp&semi;strives to break the walls of ethnicity and religious bigotry&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;North and South are brothers and we remain so&comma;” he said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>In the same vein&comma; the association says its &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;First National Stakeholders Meeting”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>holds on September 25 by 10am at <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">Enugu Sports Club<&sol;a>&comma; GRA&comma; Enugu&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
