NIPOSSGA 2021: Ede Poly wins medals, as Rector congratulates contingent

<p><strong>The Rector&comma; Federal Polytechnic&comma; Ede&comma; Dr&period; John Taiwo Adekolawole&comma; has congratulated the contingent of the institution at the just concluded NIPOSSGA 2021&comma; tagged UGWASHI UKU&comma; hosted by the Delta State Polytechnic&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Recall that the Polytechnic contingent&comma; which was led by the Director of Sports&comma; Mr Obafemi Olujinmi Oni&comma; for the first time won two Gold medals and six Bronze medals during the games&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This was contained in a press statement signed by the Protocol&comma; Media and Public Relations Officer of the institution&comma; Sola Lawal&comma; and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo&comma; the Osun State capital&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The statement quoted the Rector as saying&colon; <em><strong>&&num;8221&semi; On behalf of the Governing Council&comma; Management and the entire staff and students of the Federal Polytechnic&comma; Ede&comma; I heartily felicitate with our diligent and committed Coaching crew&comma; led by the Chief Coach&comma; Mr Shuaib Agboola Akinbode&comma; the Entire Ugwachi Uku 2021 Contingent led by Deputy Rector &lpar; Academics&rpar; Engr&period; Dr&period; Joseph Olawole Petinrin&comma; Deputy Rector &lpar;Administration&rpar; Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Adelabu&comma; Polytechnic Librarian&comma; Dr&period; Rotimi Adesina Egunjobi and the entire Federal Polytechnic&comma; Ede Community &period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>Indeed&comma; this is another display of the inherent &&num;8216&semi; Never say die attitude&&num;8221&semi; of our citadel and the high spirit of consistency as enshrined in our institution&&num;8217&semi;s motto which is &&num;8220&semi;KNOWLEDGE&comma; SKILL AND CHARACTER<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&&num;8221&semi; As we celebrate this laudable feat&comma; I thereby urge the entire Polytechnic community to continue to work in unison and in solidarity as one big family of whole towards taking the citadel to a greater heights&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;
