MOUN State Chapters Join NLC

OpenLife Nigeria reports that on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, leaders and members of state chapters of the Motor Cycle Operators Union of Nigeria, MOUN, trooped out in large numbers to join the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, to celebrate Workers’ Day.

MOUN Lagos State chapter

Speaking to OpenLife Sunday afternoon, Comrade Ade Ikuesan, General Secretary of the Union, stated that MOUN is an integral part of the organised labour in Nigeria and the body is therefore, duty bound to actively participate in the 2024 Workers’ Day alongside NLC.

MOUN Oyo State chapter

He noted that the Union’s participation is part of our cardinal policies to continuously educate our teeming members of who we are and what we stand for in the Nigeria sphere.

MOUN Akwa Ibom State chapter

We are an organized body whose duties and responsibilities are patterned along the overall focus of NLC.

“At MOUN, we are poised to ensure compliance to government’s road transport regulations by our members and deliver effective and professional motor cycle transport services to passengers across the State,” he stated.

MOUN General Secretary, Comrade Ade Ikuesan

“MOUN members in Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Niger, Oyo, Ondo, Lagos, Katsina, Abuja, etc joined the NLC in the celebration of Workers’ Day,” Ikuesan added.
