OpenLife Nigeria reports that with several innovation and services introduced in recent months, as well as deployment of new technologies, MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank (MMPSB), promoted and backed by Globacom, has continued to record impressive growth in its customer base.
Launched in May 2022, with focus on the unbanked and under-banked in order to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria, MMPSB client base has been growing rapidly with new customers leveraging its digital channels such as USSD, mobile app and internet banking to open accounts, buy airtime and data, pay utility bills and more.
Industry sources attributed the influx Nigerians to the bank to their desire to enjoy seamless services on offer and also to conduct hitch free financial transactions.
According to the source, “There are currently over 4,000 billers on the MMPSB platform and that the number is growing on a daily basis. Through the platform, customers are able to pay for many essential services such as airtime, data, electricity, cable subscription, etc.”
The PSB also assure its existing and new customers of unique banking experience as it prepares to unveil several new initiatives to delight them.
MoneyMaster PSB can, by virtue of their licenses issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in August 2020 facilitate payment and remittance services within Nigeria, accept deposits from individuals and small businesses, issue debit and prepaid cards, operate electronic wallets, inbound remittances, and carry out other services in line with CBN regulations.
