OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Kebbi State Police Command has arrested three suspects and recovered stolen property in two separate cases of vehicle and motorcycle snatching within the state.
A statement signed by SP Bashir Usman, Police Public Relations Officer, reveals that on the 28th December, 2025, operatives from Ambursa Division, during routine patrol along Ambursa-Gulumbe Road, arrested Hamza Shehu (30) and Musa Shehu Manga (49) for snatching an unregistered Bajaj motorcycle, from a commercial motorcyclist.
The motorcycle was recovered, while an accomplice identified as Chika Boss remains at large.
On the 29th December, 2025, one Ibrahim Sule was intercepted while attempting to move a stolen Toyota Corolla LE sedan, silver in color.
Investigation revealed that, the vehicle was stolen after the owner was made unconscious when a substance was put into his drink while on transit.
The vehicle has been recovered, while another suspect identified as Ibrahim is still at large.
The three persons in custody will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation, as efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining suspects.
