“I’ve moved On Since 2025” — Sophia Momodu Claps Back At Trolls Over Chioma’s Shading Statement
OpenLife reports that Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has addressed the recent online chatter following a subtle dig at the singer’s wife, Chioma Avril Rowland.
OpenLife earlier reported that the controversy began when a fan praised Sophia as a “woman of substance” who keeps expanding her horizons, contrasting her with Chioma, who was described as “stuck with kitchen items.” Sophia initially replied on Snapchat, admitting she was flattered by the shade.
“I have been travelling nonstop, and I haven’t had the time to surf the internet. I barely even have Internet, and when I do, I post what I want and go. I don’t know anything about kitchen utensils; it’s whatever.
I responded to 1 of the numerous compliments,” she said, explaining that the fan’s words made her feel “blushed” and her “head swears.”
After facing backlash for the interaction, Sophia clarified her position and urged fans to move on.
“Like I always do, innocently, I saw the feedback, and I realised what that overzealous fan was trying to do, and I deleted it.
Everyone’s fan base needs to move on, honestly. Y’all can never make me care about issues I’ve left in 2025. It’s done to me,” she added.
She also emphasized her priorities:
“I’m very happy and blessed, my offspring is happy, healthy, winning and blessed. That’s honestly all that matters to me.
You people should MOVE ON, and I’m talking to you overzealous fan bases that he is sneak-dissing each other. Back to enjoying my trip.”
Sophia Momodu’s response shows that while the fan shade sparked conversation, she prefers to focus on her family and personal life, leaving the matter behind and encouraging fans to move on.
