IPOB suspends sit-at-home as Nnamdi Kanu appears in court tomorrow

<p><strong>The <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Indigenous People of Biafra &lpar;IPOB&rpar;<&sol;a> have suspended the sit-at-home as its leader <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;OpenLife&period;ng">Nnamdi Kanu<&sol;a> goes to court on Thursday&comma; December 2&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Kanu currently detained by the Department of State Services &lpar;DSS&rpar; is facing charges bordering on treason&comma; among other offences&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja had adjourned the case to January 2022&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>But after deliberations&comma; Kanu&&num;8217&semi;s trial will continue on Thursday as the court has scheduled an emergency hearing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Spokesperson of the outlawed group&comma; Emma Powerful has announced that there will be no sit-at-home instead everyone should go about their businesses&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;boko-haram-abduct-top-government-officials-in-borno&sol;"><span style&equals;"color&colon; &num;800000&semi;">Boko Haram Terrorists Abduct Top Government Officials In Borno<&sol;span><&sol;a><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p>He called on supporters in Abuja to come out en masse and show solidarity for Kanu&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;There will be no lockdown tomorrow in any part of Biafra land as a result of the court appearance&period; Biafrans resident in Biafra land&comma; as well as visitors to Biafra land&comma; are free to go about their lawful businesses without fear of molestations or intimidation&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>We have not asked or authorized anybody to monitor or enforce any lockdown&period; Again&comma; there will be no lockdown in Biafra land for tomorrow’s court appearance of our Leader&period; Only Biafrans and friends of Biafra in Abuja and its environs are encouraged to be at the court premises&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
