INEC Releases April 15 Re Run Polling Units Across Nigeria To Conclude 2023 Elections

OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the comprehensive list of polling units and constituencies where supplementary elections will hold to bring the 2023 elections to a final close and conclude on two inconclusive governorship contests in Adamawa and Kebbi states.
A breakdown shows that supplementary elections would hold in 69 polling units in Adamawa state to bring the election to a final conclusion and a winner declared. There are 42,785 registered voters in those polling units out of which only 37,706 collected their Permanent Voters Card.

From the above release by INEC, it means the Commission may have foreclosed the idea of holding supplementary election in 16 Local Government Areas of Adamawa state as requested for by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
In Kebbi state, supplementary election would hold in 142 polling units having a total of 96,319 registered voters with 94,209 of them having their Permanent Voters Cards.
Supplementary elections would hold in the three senatorial districts of Sokoto state. In Sokoto South supplementary elections will hold in 133 polling units having a cumulative of 77,213 voters out of which 73,461 picked their PVC. In Sokoto North, elections will hold in 166 units having a total of 110,214 units out of which 106,207 units picked their PVC.

In Sokoto East supplementary election will hold in 90 units with a total of 49,978 registered voters out of which 48,075 collected their PVC.
Supplementary Zanfara Central Senatorial district will hold in 83 units with a total of 50,244 registered voters out of which 47,227 of them collected their PVC.
In Kebbi North, supplementary elections would hold in 23 polling units with a total of 13,493 registered voters out of which 13,243 collected their PVC.
Similarly, supplementary elections will hold in several federal constituencies and state constituencies across Nigeria.
