Impact Investors Foundation, IIF, is organizing its 3rd Convening on the theme, “COVID-19 and Gender Lens Investing in Nigeria
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Impact Investors’ Foundation cordially invites you to the virtual edition of its 3rd IIF Annual Convening on Impact Investing on the theme, “COVID-19 and Gender Lens Investing in Nigeria.”
A statement signed by Maria E. Glover, Projects Lead, Impact Investors’ Foundation, stated that the webinar which is scheduled to hold on December 10, 2020, at 10 A.M (WAT)will bring together key actors and cross-sectoral stakeholders to discuss opportunities and challenges in mainstreaming gender lens investing in Nigeria under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will feature a wide range of speakers which include GLI experts, consultants, business leaders, investors and GLI fund managers to speak on the theme.
According to Glover, the convening aims to address:
How to unlock capital for Gender Lens Investments into the country.
Strategies to break down barriers that exclude female entrepreneurs and female-centred businesses from accessing finance at favourable terms and conditions that support the growth of their businesses.
Practical insights on how to adopt GLI in investors’ investment strategies.
Exposing investors to GLI frameworks and approaches that have worked and are being deployed in response to COVID-19.
Providing guidelines to investors who would want to adopt GLI into their investment strategies.
