<p>The  ;Rector of
the Federal  ;Polytechnic,  ;Ilaro, Ogun State, Architect ;Olusegun
Olanrewaju has  ;disclosed  ;that the institution became cultism-free
as a result of discipline inculcated in the students by management. ;</p>

<p>He stated this  ;at a press conferences commemorating the 40th
anniversary of the school.</p>

<p>He stated that the
rules  ;of dress code s and regular advice  ;on attitudinal change also
contributed to the peaceful conduct of the students on campus. ;</p>

<p>He explained that,
prompt release of results allows the students to know their studentship status
without overstaying on campus. ;</p>

<p>&#8220;The reason we
have not been in the news on any cult related activities was as a result of our
strict compliance of the polytechnic&#8217;s rules on the students. Once the students
;get  ;admission, we give them the handbook which
contains the rules and regulations of the school. ;</p>

<p>&#8220;Again, we have
ensured that we release the results of our students six weeks after writing
their examinations to allow them know if they are qualified to be our students
without unnecessary loitering on the school campus. ;</p>

<p>Aluko added that the
40th anniversary which kicked off on the 3rd of April, 2019 with the
commissioning of founding fathers billboard will end on October 16, 2019 with
conferment of award on the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and past rectors
of the institution. ;</p>
