“If God Wills It… Yeah, I Can Forgive Her” — Imisi Opens Up About Her Mom
OpenLife reports that reality star and Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about her complicated bond with her mother, revealing a story of forgiveness, faith, and cautious hope.
Speaking candidly, Imisi described a relationship shaped by distance and challenges, yet anchored in her Christian faith.
“She is my mom, and I’m a woman, I know the pain it takes to bring a child into this world,” she said.
“If God wills it… yeah, I can forgive her. I’ve forgiven people who aren’t even related to me, so of course I can forgive her.”
Despite a less-than-cordial upbringing, she emphasized that she holds no resentment.
“Growing up, we didn’t really have a strong relationship. But I don’t have anything against her. She’s doing well, and I’m doing well,” Imisi explained.
Reflecting on what she would want her mother to know, Imisi added, “Honestly, I don’t know.
Maybe she should just be a better person. But she should keep praying the Lord is with her.”
Through her words, Imisi showcases a rare blend of honesty and compassion, demonstrating how faith, understanding, and forgiveness can reshape even the most complex family ties.
