<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>How Teachers Instructed Inhuman Treatment<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights&comma; CDHR&comma; Kwara State Chapter condemns&comma; in totality&comma; abuse of minors and gender-based violence in Ganmo Community area of Kwara state&period; The committee learned the incidents happened in one Islamic School named Misbahudeen around Ganmo area a few days ago&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;In a viral video&comma; some male students were seen maltreating and manhandling a female student and a male student for reasons best known to them&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;In a statement signed by Afolabi Lukman Idris Afees and made available to<a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thisdaylive&period;com&sol;"> NAOSRE<&sol;a>&comma; CDHR noted that during the course of the investigation&comma; it gathered that those students were punished on the authority of their teachers for attending the birthday party of one of the seniors in the same Islamic School&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;All attempts by the organization to reach the victims proved abortive&period; This incident is bad and condemnable&period; It is a typical case of gender-based violence and child molestation as well as an abuse of privilege which needs to be investigated&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>CDHR however&comma; calls on appropriate authority to rise up to this challenge&comma; investigate whatever issues surrounding these molestations and appropriate sanctions and checks be put in place&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The Kwara state government&comma; the Nigerian Police Kwara state command&comma; the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps &lpar;NSCDC&rpar; and other relevant agencies should rise up against these inhuman treatments to prevent such abuses in the future&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In addition&comma; the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development and Kwara Board of Arabic Education should investigate&comma; sanitise and sanction the Arabic school appropriately&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>CDHR remains the foremost human rights group in the state and we are committed to the course&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
