Governor Darius Ishiaku’s Testimony Should Encourage PDP To Adopt Peter Obi As Concensus

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Peter Obi Presidency advocacy group known as “Obi is Better,” has enjoined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to adopt Peter Obi as it’s consensus candidate as a result of avalanche of incontestable testimonies from credible Nigerians about the former governor of Anambra State.
The group statement signed by Emeka Ezechi and made available to OpenLife lauded the conclusion of the nation wide delegates’ consultations embarked upon by Obi and his team stressing that Nigeria’s endemic rot can be addressed with Obi as president from 2023.
The group noted that Obi remains the most qualified for the presidential job and therefore appeals to PDP leaders to consider the ex banker as consensus.
The statement reads in full:

We want to commend our presidential aspirant, Mr. Peter Obi, for being the first aspirant across party lines that has been able to visit the Federal Capital Territory and all the states of the federation except Adamawa State.
He decided to leave Adamawa State in deference to his former Boss to whom he was his running mate in the 2019 presidential elections.
He deserves commendation because he has demonstrated once more that politics is not bitterness but respect and friendship. His campaign has been issue based. He has been able to lecture many of us the Harvard and Cambridge style of lecturing.

No wonder, His Excellency, Governor Darius Ishiaku of Taraba State could not hide his admiration for Peter Obi when he stated that the lecture they received from him was One Million Dollar lecture, they got for free.

t is noteworthy that our aspirant, Mr. Peter Obi, has become endeared to Nigerians home and abroad, old and young, male and female. The following and support base Obi has at this time is massive and organic.

It is imperative and necessary that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should consider the mood of the country and in a matter of national unity, equity, good conscience, development, peace and progress, step down and declare his unalloyed support to Mr. Peter Obi. We also encourage other aspirants like Governor Nyesom Wike, Senator Bukola Saraki et al, to join in the process of adopting Mr. Peter Obi as the consensus candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Obi has demonstrated capacity, competence and knowledge needed in taking Nigeria out of the woods.
We, therefore, appeal to all delegates of the PDP to do the needful by voting and/or adopting Peter Obi as the candidate of the party.
It is common knowledge that Obi is excellently qualified and prepares to salvage Nigeria.
