OpenLife Nigeria reports that Galaxy S23 device was unveiled in Lagos on Tuesday by digital services company, Globacom, and world’s leading manufacturers of
electronic devices, Samsung, with different opportunities for Glo customers to own the much coveted phone.
The opportunities include trade-in of old devices and device financing for S23 series, with N100,000 discount for the first 100 customers to participate in the scheme.
At the event which was held at Gloworld, Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, different Galaxy S23 models, including S23 Ultra, S23 Plus and S23, were formally unveiled. They come in standard and eco packages, with different accessories and functionalities.
A partnership between Globacom and Samsung with a special offer for Glo
subscribers to own the Galaxy S23 Ultra 1TB smartphone was announced recently.
The preordering process followed immediately in which many Glo customers visited Gloworld shops across the country to pre-order their preferred device.
18GB bonus data, which comes with “Glo Smartphone Festival Data Plans”,
is another benefit to be enjoyed by Samsung S23 customers. This comes at 3GB per month, covering six months for customers on Glo network.
Speaking on the package, Globacom said that “with the Glo and Samsung
S23 exclusive offer, Nigerians have a convenient way to own the devices
by buying directly from Gloworld shops across the country, or through the trade-in plan. They can also utilize device financing option which allows them to buy the devices and pay over an agreed period of time”.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director of Samsung, West Africa, Charlie Lee stated that the company is highly delighted to unveil the Galaxy S23 ultra 1TB smartphone alongside Globacom, which he described
as worthy partners. He assured customers of unique experience while using the S23 series.
