CP Sani Bello Promises Sustainable Proactive Measures For Peace

‎OpenLife Nigeria reports that Commissioner Sani Bello has assured the sustainance of proactive measures to keep Kebbi State safe for all.

This promise comes against the backdrop of the arrest of a suspect in connection with a case of robbery and homicide involving one 25 years old Ibrahim Yahaya whose lifeless body was discovered on December 16, 2025, at about 0830hrs in Bakin Dutsi Forest, Ngaski Local Government Area.

‎Acting on credible intelligence and following swift investigative efforts, the Police arrested one 20 years old Aminu Adamu of Yauri Local Government Area, at about 2.20pm in possession of the Haojue motorcycle earlier robbed from the deceased.

In line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, the matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough investigation.

‎The Command wishes to reassure members of the public that the situation is under control, with proactive measures in place to sustain peace and public safety across the State, ” a statement signed by SP Bashir Usman, Police Public Relations Officer, ‎Kebbi State Police Command, stated.

Continuing, the statement said “Residents are encouraged to go about their lawful activities and to continue supporting the Police with timely and useful information.”
