Corrupt Handling Of Murder Case Against Nigerian Top Police Officer Rattles Presidency As Force Headquarters Allegedly Moves To Beg Activist {Video}

Corrupt Handling Of Murder Case

OpenLife News reports that Martins Vincent Otse, populary known as VeryDarkMan, a Nigerian social media activist, influencer and content creator, revealed that authority of the Nigeria Police Force has reached out to him to soft pedal on the alleged corrupt actions of an Assistant Deputy Inspector General of Police, AIG Jimoh Moshood, in handling a murder case.

In the past weeks, VDM has been publicly clashing with the Zone 2 AIG Jimoh Moshood, centering on the handling of the controversial Ajiran community murder case and alleged misconduct.

VDM accused the senior police officer of corruption and compromising justice, while the AIG dismissed the claims as social media noise.

The development, according to insider, is causing discomfort in the presidency in view of President Tinubu’s stance against corruption.

The Core Dispute

VDM claimed in viral videos that police statements from suspects in the 2023 murder of Sheriff Salami and Prince Ademola Akinloye were mishandled or suppressed, later adding claims involving an alleged land dispute.

Based on the allegations, VDM has openly dared AIG Moshood to file criminal defamation charges against him, stating he would “bet his freedom” on the truth of his evidence.

In response, AIG Moshood dismissed the remarks, stating he would not “stoop so low” to engage on social media and advised anyone with concerns to go to court.

Surprisingly, VDM, on Friday dislosed that the Police authority has reached him to soft pedal on the case so that public confidence in the Police will not be completely eroded.

Accrording to the activist, in a video that has gone viral, Police authority has stepped  in for moderated further revelation.

The  activist said : “So the Police want me to help them cover AIG MOSHOOD JIMOH. They said the evidence I have posted will make Nigerians lose confidence in the Nigeria police Force.

“So they want me to help them. That is why the Force Headquarters is yet to put out a press release on the matter.
“They want me to be on their side and not counter whatever damage control they want to put out there.
Well, this is my answer to the @nigeriapoliceforce. I will not be joining the whitewashing of AIG Moshood Jimoh.

“For Inspector General, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, you must set up an independent investigative panel to review all the evidence I have against the corrupt Jimoh and I must be in the panel with my lawyer.
There is also a goodnews because Babajide Akinloye is now on the run.

“Aare fakorede is also in hiding,” the 32 years old Ratel Movement founder disclosed in a video.
