<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Conscience No Dey Put Food For Their Table” – Actor Prince Eke Blasts Nigeria Celebrities<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Nollywood actor Prince Eke has criticised several Nigerian celebrities&comma; accusing them of prioritising personal gain over speaking out against corruption and poor governance in the country&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In a post on Instagram&comma; he said&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The earlier you understand that most of these so-called celebrities are not worth being influenced by&comma; the better for you&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He didn’t mince words about the motives behind their silence&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Actors and musicians alike watched Nigeria drown in corruption and bad governance and kept their mouths shut&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Why&quest; Because they are waiting for politicians to throw them a few peanuts to come and dance during campaigns&comma;” Eke added&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The actor also questioned why so many stars struggle today instead of benefiting from past successes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;If Nigeria actually worked&comma; many of them would still be earning royalties from movies they acted in decades ago&period; But instead of demanding a working system&comma; they line up to be used by the same politicians destroying the country&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>And for anyone shocked by celebrities standing beside corrupt leaders&comma; Eke gave a blunt reality check&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Many of them are broke&comma; desperate&comma; and perfectly willing to sell their conscience to the highest bidder&period; After all&comma; conscience no dey put food for their table&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Clearly&comma; Prince Eke is obviously afraid to shake up the entertainment industry and call for accountability even if it ruffles feathers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
