Buhari makes fresh appointments ahead of 2023 (Full List)

<p><strong>President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Engr Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua &lpar;FNSE&rpar;<&sol;a> as the new Interim Administrator of the <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;OpenLife&period;ng">Niger Delta Development Commission &lpar;NDDC&rpar;<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The appointment was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Press at the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs&comma; Patricia Deworitshe&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is following the termination of the appointment of former NDDC interim administrator&comma;  Mr Effiong Okon Akwa earlier today&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Until his appointment as interim administrator&comma; Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua was the most senior director in the Commission&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Accordingly&comma; he will perform the duties of the Managing Director in acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director and members of the Governing Board&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;2023-peter-obi-suspends-campaign-gives-reason&sol;">2023&colon; Peter Obi Suspends Campaign&comma; Gives Reason <&sol;a><&sol;h2>&NewLine;<p>President Muhammadu Buhari has also  confirmed the appointment of Dr Pokop Bupwatda as the new Chief Medical Director &lpar;CMD&rpar; of Jos University Teaching Hospital &lpar;JUTH&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday&comma; October 20&comma; by Mr Ahmadu Chindaya&comma; the Deputy director&comma; media and public relations unit&comma; Federal Ministry of Health&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Minister of Health confirmed the development&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The appointment was with effect from Aug&period; 30&comma; 2022&comma; and would run for an initial tenure of four years&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
