President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of a federal university of health sciences in Otukpo, Benue state.
Femi Adesina, the special adviser on media and publicity to the president , announced the news on Wednesday, November 18, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Buhari, The Cable reported.
President Buhari at the FEC meeting on Wednesday, November 17, approved the establishment of a new university in Benue.
ThisDay also quoted Adesina as saying:
“I just like to announce that a draft bill for the establishment of a Federal University of Health Sciences was approved and is to be cited in Otukpo, Benue state.”
