OpenLife reports in a recent conversation, Nigerian actress and entrepreneur Temi Otedola gave a rare glimpse into how disagreements play out between her and her partner, singer Mr Eazi.
She described a pattern where issues are not always addressed directly when emotions are high.
According to her, Mr Eazi tends to step back whenever tension arises, choosing silence instead of immediate discussion. Even when she tries to get clarity in the moment, he often insists that everything is fine, despite clear signs that something is wrong.
Temi explained that this silence can last for days, leaving her unsure about what is actually going on. Eventually, instead of a face-to-face conversation, she sometimes receives a long written message where he carefully breaks down everything that had bothered him.
She shared her frustration with the approach, saying:
“I don’t like when Mr Eazi is angry with me… he won’t talk to me for days and when I ask, he says everything is fine then he’ll go to another room and send me a long email of everything he’s angry about… While I was reading it, my body was already becoming hot. So at some point, I can’t even read because I’m so angry. Because imagine I’ve asked this guy 10 times, are you upset with me? Are you upset with me? he said no. So honestly, if you’re in the same flat as someone, don’t you think it’s a bit childish to not go up and speak to them? I don’t know why he can’t just shout at me instead…”
Her comments have stirred conversation online about how couples handle conflict differently, especially when one partner prefers silence while the other values direct communication.
