Born Bianca Odinakachi Onoh, she first came into national limelight as Miss Nigeria 1988 and Miss Africa 1989.
Her poise and intelligence made her one of the most celebrated beauty queens of her generation.
She later trained as a lawyer and built a career in diplomacy and politics.
She served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain and was also a Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Affairs.
Bianca was appointed as Nigeria’s full Minister of Foreign Affairs on March 30, 2026, by President Bola Tinubu. She had previously served in the cabinet as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, an office she was sworn into on November 4, 2024.

Many highlighted her advocacy for women, youth development and the preservation of Igbo culture.
In her own reflections, Bianca has often spoken about service, legacy and the responsibility of leadership.
She continues to be active in politics through APGA and in humanitarian work through the Ojukwu Memorial Foundation.
