Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State applauds Obasa
OpenLife Nigeria reports that governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Friday, March 5, extolled the legislative competence of Right Honourable Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly during the commissioning of the Agege fly over bridge.
The construction of the bridge was initiated by the last administration led by Akinwunmi Ambode who governance the state between 2015 and 2019.
The governor sees Obasa, who incidentally, represents the Agege constituency in the House of Assembly, as a democratic partner in progress.
He emphasized that but for the co operation he enjoys from the State Assembly led by Obasa, the set time of completing the project would have been a mirage.
“Our able speaker, who, until recently, was the Speaker of Speakers in Nigeria, is leading the most vibrant state assembly in Nigeria. Mr. Speaker, I thank you so much,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
The governor, who has spent over 600 days in office, promised to do more for the people of Agege in the area of infrastructural renewal because they “ truly deserve it,” the governor promised.
The governor added that the commissioned bride and adjoining roads network would serve as economic and social stimulus to Agege inhabitant and its environment.
