<p><em>Alhaji Sani Kabir&comma; one of the founding members of The NEWS and PM NEWS&comma; who died on Christmas eve&comma; was a humble man<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Alhaji Sani Kabir&comma; the Sarki Hausawa of Ebute Metta&comma; Lagos&comma; who died on December 24 has been described as a humble man&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;This was the view of Babajide Kolade-Otitoju&comma; a director in Television Continental&comma; TVC&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Speaking with OpenLife on Tuesday morning&comma; Kolade-Otitoju stated that he was still in shock over the death of Sani Kabir&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I could not believe it when the news of the death of Alhaji Sani Kabir got to me yesterday&comma;” he lamented&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Further&comma; Otitoju&comma; a former Editor of The News Magazine&comma; explained&comma; in graphic details&comma; the pan Nigerian spirit of the late Chief Executive Officer of Peoples Lotto&comma; an Isolo based business concern&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;He was extremely humble&period; Despite his privileged background&comma; Sani Kabir related with everyone well&period; When the military went after us&comma; we used his office as a hideout to produce our stories&period; He provided the seed money to start The News Magazine&period; That an Hausa man could trust a Yoruba man in business&comma; so much so that he provided safety when we were being haunted by the military and also provided funds to grow a business&comma; are the final statements of Sani Kabir’s pan Nigerian spirit and detribalised nature&comma;” Otitoju stressed&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">TVC<&sol;a> director added that he will &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;personally miss Alhaji Sani Kabir&comma;” who passed away on Thursday at the age of 57&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;OpenLife Nigeria gathered that Kabir studied International Studies at Ahmadu Bello University&comma; Zaria and graduated in 1990&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;He is survived by a wife and two children&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
