Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, in his remarks, noted that donating a Camel to the National Chief Imam is an annual donation his company has been doing over the years.

“The Eid-Al-Adha celebrations are meant for unity because I receive more Christian brothers and sisters in my house than the Muslims. They come for us to make merry and forgive each other. As we are all aware that we are not in normal times in Ghana but we should put Allah first”.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu added that both Muslims and Christians should use this season to embrace each other and preach peace.

“I want to use this medium to urge our both Muslims and Christians to use this season to embrace each other and preach peace. This is not the first time the Afro Arab Group is donating Camel to the National Chief Imam as our board member Alhaji Paapa Angola noted earlier on and this will not be the last time”.

According to him, the donation is part of Afro Arab Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
He appealed to the Muslim communities in the country to come together and build Ghana to go beyond Aid

Alhaji Paapa Angola, a board member of the Afro Arab Group commended Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu for the donation and also prayed for the Muslims who are currently in Mecca for the Hajj Prayers.

” It’s always a privilege and honour to come to the National Chief Imam and donate Camel anytime the Eid-Al-Adha draws closer. We are also praying to Allah to guide, and protect our Muslim brothers and sisters who are currently performing the Hajj prayers in Mecca”.

Receiving the Camel on behalf of the National Chief Imam of Ghana, The Director of Protocol at the Office of the National Chief Imam Alhaji Abdul Latif applauded the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the Afro Arab Group for their annual donations to the National Chief Imam.
