Africa’s Leading Philanthropist Dedicates 40 Under Forty Award To Zongo Youth

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Africa’s leading philanthropist and business man, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu has called on big investors across the globe to look the direction of Africa, saying the Africa Continent holds the ace of global development in future.

The founder and CEO of Afro Arab Group of companies made this request when he received  the 40 Under Forty Africa Awards which he dedicated to the youth from Nima and Maamobi, Accra Ghana.

The assiduous business mogul from Ghana was rated the best among his contenders in the banking and finance category.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu in his speech after being named the best in banking and finance dedicated the Award to the youth from the Zongo Communities in Ghana.

Alhamdulillah, I was born and bred in Maamobi a deprived community in Ghana but I have been able to break the odds to become an entrepreneur, philanthropist and businessman. I want to dedicate this award to the youth in the Zongos most especially those from Maamobi and Nima.

First of all, Let me thank the Almighty Allah for his mercies. Let me applaud the organisers of this esteemed award for their superb work. The packaging is outstanding. Honestly,it is hard to put this feeling into words. I’m honoured to be the first in the banking and finance category. I’m proud to be an African tonight,” he stated.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu who also doubles as the Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development called on investors across to come and do business in Africa.

I want to use this medium to call on investors across the globe to come and do business in Africa because Africa has many businesses. And of course, Ghana is the gateway to Africa because we have been blessed with many natural resources, ” he requested.

The most decorated young business magnate was selected among the 2023 Young Influential Ghanaians.

The youth from the ruling government New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso North Constituency clashed over him to contest the ticket of both parties as the Parliamentary Candidate for the upcoming 2024 General Elections.

But Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu rather prefers to be an entrepreneur, a businessman and a philanthropist than a politician as he added that God knows the best when someone called him to find out whether he was entering into politics.

The 40 Under Forty Africa Awards was held on the 25th of March 2023 at the Leonardo Hotel-Sandton- South Africa.
