Adamawa Controversial Senator, Elisha Abbo, joins APC

 

Adamawa controversial senator Elisha Abbo, , for reasons not too clear as of this time of OpenLife Nigeria filling this report,  has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Senator Elisha Abbo has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan read Abbo’s letter of defection during the plenary session on Wednesday.

In his letter of defection, senator Abbo noted that the alleged mismanagement of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Adamawa State led to his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Adamawa controversial Senator is a Nigerian politician. He hails from Muchalla Ward, Mubi-North LGA of Adamawa State. He is the senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in Adamawa State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly.

On the 9th of February, 2004, Mr. Elisha Abbo had sued the authorities of the Nigerian Naval Training College, Onne, Port Harcourt for allegedly denying him admission into the college on grounds of his HIV status.
According to information gathered by OpenLife Nigeria, the legal action was instituted on his behalf by the vice chairman of the NBA, Abuja, Barr. Jude Okeke at the Federal High Court Abuja.

After that, he was on the 2nd of July, 2019 caught in the act of physically assaulting a nursing mother inside an adult toy shop in Abuja.

He mercilessly and boastfully slapped the lady in the sex toy shop.
Subsequently, a High Court in Abuja ordered Senator Elisha Abbo to pay the sum of N50 million in a civil suit between Ms. Warmate versus the Adamawa Controversial, Senator Elisha Abbo, for an assault on Ms. Warmate in the sex shop.

The Inspector General of the Nigeria Police ordered an investigation into the incident after a public outrage. The senate also set up an investigative panel head by Senator Sam Egwu to do a thorough investigation in the incident and report back to the senate within two weeks. At the first sitting of the panel a heated argument ensued between Senators Abbo and Oluremi

Tinubu on the method to be adopted. Abbo had asked the panel to conduct its investigation off the camera since the case was already before a but Senator Remi Tinubu object threatening to recommend the suspension of senator Abbo if he dictates to the panel investigating him.

He however apologized after a huge media backlash by Nigerians.
Elisha Abbo runs a good number of businesses as well as into politics. He is estimated to be net worth $10 million.
Born in 1978, Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo was born and brought up in Gova, Muchalla Village, Mubi North Local Government Area, Adamawa State. Sen. Abbo has lived several parts of the world such as London, Canada, Abuja, Sydney, Lagos and so on. He is 41 years old and is reportedly one of the youngest serving senators in the country.

He is also an entrepreneur. Prior to his political career, Elisha was the Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of a multinational political consultancy firm, the “Saice & Wright Group”, Abuja.

The Adamawa controversial senator  is happily married to Mrs. Emily Eric and was a former SSA to Governor Murtala Nyako and a former secretary of the Adamawa State Sports & Youths Council.
