A Thank You Message To Dr Ifeanyi Odii
OpenLife News reports that former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State Chapter, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has expressed profound gratitude to Ebonyi-born billionaire businessman, philanthropist and politician, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, for his immense support during the double celebration of the opening of his country home and the memorial in honour of his late parents.
The landmark events, held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Aguene’s new country home in Onicha Igboeze, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The events were colourful and attracted prominent Igbo leaders, captains of industry, political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo from Lagos and across the South-East.
In a post event chat with OpenLife Friday morning, Chief Aguene, a respected businessman and Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Aguene Art Foundation, said the successful hosting of the two significant events would not have been possible without the brotherly love and generous support of Dr. Odii.

In a heartfelt appreciation message, Chief Aguene described Dr. Odii, who is the founder and Chairman of Orient Global Group and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ebonyi State, as a true embodiment of the Ebonyi spirit of oneness and brotherhood.
“Again, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii has showed me love and brotherliness. He was with me from the beginning to the end. He was not only physically present but he supported me with huge sum of money and cows,” Aguene said.
“Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii always exudes the Ebonyi spirit of oneness, one family and brotherliness. He supported me greatly when I was the President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos. He stood by me all the way.”
“Honestly, I just don’t know how to thank Ifeanyi Odii for his love for me and love for Ebonyi State. My daily prayers for him are that Almighty God will grant him his heart desires.
“To say that Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii is a good man is an understatement,” he added.
Chief Aguene noted that the significance of Dr. Odii’s support went beyond the mansion opening.
According to him, standing by him during the remembrance of his late parents gave the memorial a deeper meaning, honour and dignity.
He explained that remembering one’s parents is a sacred cultural and spiritual duty in Igbo land, and having a brother like Dr. Odii to support him in such a moment of reflection, thanksgiving and ancestral honour, made the ceremony more memorable and fulfilling.

He also extended appreciation to the Minister of Works and former Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi, for his generosity and leadership.
“I will also continue to thank my former governor and authentic Ebonyi State leader for his generosity in different ways to make my event successful,” he said.
Chief Aguene equally thanked Hon. Linus Okorie for his benevolence, High Chief Kesta Agwu Nwogba Agwu (Dike Anagbara Izu), who served as Chairman of the occasion, and former Super Eagles Coach, Bonfrère Jo, who graced the event.
“High Chief Kesta Agwu Nwogba Agwu was the Chairman of the occasion and he did marvelously well. I cannot thank him enough. May God continue to bless him and family. I also thank my good friend, Bonfrère Jo, former coach of the Super Eagles. He was with me in Ebonyi. He came all the way from Holland to celebrate with me.
“I also thank many others that I cannot mention because they are very numerous. I pray that Almighty God will also honour them ,” Aguene stated.
