OpenLife Nigeria reports that the 2026 World Cup competition, hosted by America, Canada and Mexico is expected to be concluded on Sunday, July 19 at the
MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The final due is between Spain and Argentina.
Among the dignitaries to grace the show is President Trump who is billed to attend.
White House has confirmed.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump’s attendance will be “a fitting conclusion to a tournament that showcased America’s ability to host the world on the grandest stage.”
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said he and Trump will deliver the FIFA World Cup trophy to the winning team’s captain on the field.
Also, Shakira is co-headlining the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show.
The landmark performance would take place during the closing festivities of the tournament.
Shakira isn’t the only global superstar taking the pitch. She is sharing the stage with an all-star lineup of artists, including:Co-headliners: Justin Bieber, Madonna and Burna Boy who collaborated with Shakira on the official tournament song, “Dai Dai”.
