OpenLife Nigeria reports that Big Brother Naija former housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, calls out her ex after he slid into her DMs with a Valentine’s greeting.
In a bold Instagram post, she recalled the drama that erupted when she got married two years ago.
“Remember 2024 when I got married? Remember the lies you spread about me on WhatsApp, Snapchat, and IG.
Recruiting your friends, even people I’ve never met, just to drag my name. There was nothing you didn’t say,” she wrote.
She described how the situation affected her deeply and how she had sought peace while leaving judgment to God. “I called you and asked why.
Instead, I left you for God to judge. I called your boss to please beg you to stop spreading lies about me. I was shocked it came from you. I called your brother, who’s a good friend to my family. I cried and cried.
You followed people who didn’t know me to drag my name to the mood 2024.”
Now in 2026, he reportedly calls her “sister” and asks for her contact to apologise.
The drama between Queen Mercy and her ex shows that some past relationships leave a lasting mark. While he tries to apologise and reach out years later, Queen Mercy remains firm, making it clear that she has moved on and won’t tolerate public mockery or disrespect.
