Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has ordered the arrest of a member of the House of Representatives, Chinyere Igwe.
Igwe is a cousin to Austin Opara, who is a supporter of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
The lawmaker is said to be the owner of a filling station in Diobu, Port Harcourt, which was sealed off by security agents on Friday.
Wike alleged that the product from the filling station is sourced from illegal refineries popularly known as kpo-fire.

Wike said he had told the security agencies that, “if I hear anything that any filling station is involved in oil bunkering, I will close down that filling station and therefore I have directed the security agencies to know who has that filling station in Diobu and arrest that person and we are going to prosecute the person.
“It doesn’t matter how highly placed that person is. Some of you should be used to teach a lesson.
“Time has come, we cannot allow oil bunkering, we can’t.”
Igwe, who was speaking about the sealing of his filling station on Friday, had described the action of the security agencies as “politically motivated”.
