“Wike, Stop Fighting Who Is Not Fighting You” By Elijah Afolabi

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike recently blew hot and warned that members of the G5 governors within the Peoples Democratic Party will strike back at the PDP presidential campaign council if any member of the council insults the governors.

The aggrieved governor said he is open to peace and reconciliation for the victory of the party in the forthcoming polls.

However, members of the party’s council especially those who recently defected from the opposition APC to the PDP, should desist from castigating the G5 governors consisting of Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.

This is absolutely ridiculous because PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar did not ask any member of the Campaign Council or anyone of his foot soldiers to enter into the ring with Governor Nyesom Wike.

Governor Wike should stop fighting who isn’t fighting him.

There is freedom of expression or would you now say someone like the fmr N.B.A President Olisa Agbakoba(SAN) who is one of the most respected Nigerians and who when he talks people listen, is now a member of PDP presidential campaign council.

Gov Wike should know that it is in the public domain that he has played to the gallery.
