We strongly appeal to Wike to stop the battle of tantrums he has initiated and turn sword into ploughshares because our party PDP has every prospect to win the forthcoming elections.
Thereafter, whatever lopsidedness that is observed will be critically examined and redressed appropriately. We have nothing to share from zero as it is but as soon as we get into power we shall have enough to share and every agitation will be properly handled to the satisfaction of every region.
The PDP will definitely plug way at resolving this crisis with Wike if that is going to help us to win the election.
The party is finding it difficult to plumb the mystery behind Wike’s aggravation against Ayu adding that the resignation of the latter as his group is calling for, will cause structural breakdown of PDP at this stage when the general elections are at hand.
If Ayu resigns how will the party gets back its spirit before the general elections which is just few weeks away. When a new Chairman emerges, he will find it difficult to acclimatize with the activities leading to the election in a short period.
We are cocksure that PDP is winning the election, it is therefore naïve and absurd to abandon a course in the throws of getting a result because we have a lot of stings to our bows of coasting to victory.
The best way to win the election is for us to be united which will impel us to work ourselves arse off to articulate our action plans that will evolve a result-oriented mechanism for effective management of our party to be free of any hindrance that will militate against us from winning the forthcoming elections in 2023.
For this reason, we sincerely appeal to Wike not to take us back to the harrowing days of 2015 when five (5) PDP serving governors decamped to the opposition party of APC. It happened right under the nose of the then president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan which led to his defeat at the polls.
We don’t want a repeat of it. Infact the scenario seems to be playing out. It is our duty to ensure that it does not get to the peak where it will be difficult for the party to resolve.
Gov Wike shouldn’t attempt to make a mistake of dumping pdp because the resultant effect will be disastrous and it will continue to hurt and haunt his political activities for life.
To avoid all this untoward happening in the PDP the leadership of the party will map out value strategies to address the shortcomings observed to put the party in better stead to ensure the victory of our Presidential candidate.
If Atiku wins, it will come to Nigerians as a joyous day break of long night of unprecedented suffering. Nigerians shall continue to stand on the symbolic shadow of Atiku Abubakar who is a visionary leader and bridge builder who will take us to where we suppose to be in all facets of humanity if voted into power.
The people of Ondo State were highly disappointed when the former Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko turned down his appointment into the state campaign council for 2023 election.
The action of our well respected leader, Dr. Mimiko came to us as an embarrassment because we the good people of the state have no axe to grind with either president Atiku or the PDP.
The people of Ondo State are working assiduously to ensure the victory of Atiku before they will fight to bring fairness and equity to the party.
What do we stand to gain after getting the chairman and at the end, we are unable to win the election?
Those who are posing threat to the victory of the party in 2023 have all benefited immensely from the PDP by using it as a platform to actualize their tall dreams of becoming Governors in their various states.
