<p>Kebbi Voters Should Support General Aminu Bande<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h4><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a> reports that there are strong appeals from well meaning individuals in Kebbi State to ensure that he emerges as Kebbi State next governor&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Those in the vanguard of this advocacy easily point at a time he embarked on massive distribution of palliatives as well as medical supports to Internally Displaced Persons&comma; IDPs&comma; in Kebbi State around October 2020&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;That particular gesture&comma; showed&comma; in great measures&comma; even to the blind&comma; that retired General Aminu Bande&comma; who was then the Acting General Officer Commanding&comma; GOC of the 8 Division of Nigerian Army&comma; is a man whose blood is full of human kindness&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;During the distribution exercise&comma; Bande explained that the palliatives covered 32 communities across the state&comma; adding that his aim was to see that the camps ravaged by flood are given good healthcare&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Apart from General Aminu Bande’s innate humane and kind spirit&comma; which he generously dispenses&comma; his bosses&comma; while in service&comma; had cogent reasons to commend him for his professionalism and diligence to duty&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;In one of those instances&comma; former Chief of Army Staff&comma; Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai&comma; commended Bande who had executed various projects at the Sokoto 8 Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army at 26 Battalion&period; The projects enhanced soldier’s performance by boosting morale and efficiency of the personnel&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Bande&comma; while in service&comma; led troops that made life very unbearable to bandits both in the bushes and along their escape routes&comma; a development that compelled bandits to lobby to surrender themselves under the state government peace initiative in order to escape Bande’s troops’ superior fire power&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;For such a kind hearted man with deep knowledge of how to deal with insurgency to aspire to be Kebbi governor in 2023 is a clear indication that Kebbi’s backwardness is about to come to an end&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;It would be recalled that Major General Aminu Bande&comma; Rtd&comma; early February&comma; formally declared his interest to contest the governorship seat of Kebbi state on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party&period;<&sol;h4>&NewLine;
