Where TB Joshua Will Be Buried

Where TB Joshua spends eternity
OpenLife Nigeria reports that there are speculations on where Prophet Temitope Joshua will be buried.
TB Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, died on Saturday, June 5 at the age of 57.
He was said to have conducted service at the church headquarters in Lagos before he died few hours later.
According to the wife’s account, the renowned prophet had conducted service that evening and walked into his chamber.
She met him in his office sitting on a sofa almost unconscious.
He was later pronounced died by medical doctors.
As it is with such a personality, his final place of rest has been an issue of discuss amongst his church and family members.
Since the death of the cleric was announced, his hometown, Arigidi Akoko, in the Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been wearing a mournful look.
Information has it that “Market and shops are closed in Arigidi Akoko and the nearby towns and villages to honour the departed cleric.”
Insider squealed that TB Joshua was very useful in uplifting the standard of living of his home people-young and old.

They have variously described him as a God-sent to the family and the entire community because of his philanthropic gestures that had positively affected the lives of many people in the area.
The monarch of Arigidi Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, has therefore, appealed to the members of SCOAN to allow late Joshua be buried in his home town.
Oba Olanipekun said the traditional rulers in the four Akoko local governments had decided to give the late pastor a befitting burial and that he must be buried in the town.
He said, “We can handle all his burial arrangements, not only Arigidi but all the Akokos’, comprising four local governments. We don’t joke with him, we know what he has done for us.
“Prophet had it in mind that he was coming home, so why would they bury his remains in Lagos? That is what he wants! He is from here. Look at these late pastors, Moses Orimolade was brought to Ikare, Ayo Babalola was taken to Ikeji-Arakeji, Pastor Timothy Obadare was taken to Ilesa in Osun state, among others, so why will ours be different?”
But back in Lagos, TB Joshua members may have a different plan.
To some of them, it will be unwise to bury TB Joshua anywhere outside the church.
Said a church member: “He lived all his life here. He came from Ondo State, no doubt. But this was where TB Joshua lived. We want him buried here within the church so that the location of his burial can serve as a point of pilgrimage for so many people around the world.
“Worshippers will be coming to this building. This building is going to be a Mecca of sort to worshippers all over the world because TB Joshua was not an ordinary Pastor. He was a spirit in human flesh,” she disclosed.
However, a very close aide of TB Joshua, who again spoke to OpenLife on Tuesday afternoon said “No decision has been taken on where he will be buried. Discussions are still going on.
“Don’t forget that TB Joshua also had a camp in Ondo State. He was from Arigidi in Akoko, Ondo State. He may be buried in that camp in Ondo State.
“But like I said, consultations are on going to avoid error,” he disclosed.
But OpenLife probed further and asked whether TB Joshua did not leave standing instruction on where to be buried when he died.
According to the aide “I am not aware of such instruction either in document or verbal.
“Nobody expected that he will die so soon. I do not know if he knew he himself will die like that. Maybe he knew he was going to die.
“The wife will reveal more of such information later if actually he left instruction on where to be buried, Moreso, that is partly the reason no date has been fixed. Once consultations are over and agreement on where to bury him is reached, then the burial activities will be announced” he said.
