The Man Who Controls Africa’s Largest Industrial Empire Reveals ‘What People Don’t Know About Me’

The Man Who Controls

OpenLife News reports that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed a shocking secret about his private life.

The billionaire businessman says he would rather go to prison than surrender his mobile phone.

Dangote made the startling confession in Lagos while unveiling his Vision 2030 plan, when he was asked to make a tough choice — lose his phone for one week or give up his private jet.

Without hesitation, he picked his jet.“Ah… I think it’s easier you put me in prison than to take my phone away. So, you know, I mean taking my phone away is no-go area, okay?” he declared to the shock of the audience.

But that’s not all.

The President of the Dangote Group — with tentacles in cement, fertiliser, and the world’s biggest single-train refinery — then dropped another bombshell about what is inside the device he guards so jealously.

“I have more than 13,000 contacts on my phone,” he revealed.

According to him, his contact list became that massive because of one unusual habit — he never blocks people.

“I hardly… I don’t like blocking people, so a lot of people,” he added.

For a man who controls Africa’s largest industrial empire, the phone is not just a gadget. It is his empire in his palm.
