<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that governor Prince Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has reeled out conditions and attitudes individuals and institutions in the gateway State must imbibe to enjoy economic freedom.<br />
The business tycoon turned politician who is believed to be a billionaire in all currencies advised that nothing good comes easy.<br />
He technically admonished residents in the State that though government may be doing its best to life people out of poverty, individuals and institutions must, as a matter of necessity, embrace certain ethical standards to unlock possibilities and potential.<br />
The governor who joined its counterparts across the world to commemorate the International Day of Cooperatives, noted that the theme of this year&#8217;s celebration &#8220;Cooperative: Partners for Accelerated Sustainable Development&#8221; speaks to the need for all hands to be on deck to fast track the process of reversing the negative effects of fuel subsidy removal on the economy and people&#8217;s livelihoods.<br />
Among the governor&#8217;s recommendations is that in the State should embrace best practices in the management of their affairs.<br />
<a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/">He also advised that both individuals and societies should deepen collaboration with the State government to take full advantage of opportunities to be provided in the critical sectors, including agriculture.</a><br />
Abiodun, represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo added that to ease the pains of fuel subsidy removal, the present administration would soon roll out a series of measures to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and palliative to cushion the effect.<br />
Abiodun stated further that, &#8220;In recognition of the active roles played by Cooperative Societies in our economy, particularly in the area of promoting brotherhood, good neighbourliness, economic freedom and self-realisation, our government has facilitated series of programmes aimed at encouraging more people to imbibe the spirit of cooperation and be active participants in both formal and informal sectors of our economy&#8221;.</p>
